The CodeMeter Password Manager automatically recognizes which web site you are visiting. Knowing the site and finding the required fields for username and password, the activated CmStick transfers the user access data automatically to the site via the CodeMeter Password Manager. The comparison of the URL protects you against phishing attacks. The automatic form completion helps you to use secure passwords that are complicated to remember without the CodeMeter Password Manager.

This is not only comfortable, but also secure: As the CodeMeter Password Manager compares the URL (internet address), you are also protected against phishing attacks (Phishing is the thievery of password through fake URLs).

Learn from the Login Content

When you fill out a form for the first time, the CodeMeter Password Manager will ask you whether you want to save the form data. Also changes to the form data you have already learned, will be found automatically and can overwrite the old information if you desire. Of course this function can be switched off.

The CodeMeter Password Manager includes a password generation module. It automatically generates a password with high quality. You can choose the length of the password and the included characters.

The CodeMeter Password Manager also verifies the quality of the generated passwords as well as the quality of all manually given passwords. This will be shown in a graphic.

Besides your passwords and login data you can store your PINs and TANs/iTans on your CmStick. So you can easily manage your online banking with the CmStick.

The CodeMeter Password Manager leaves you all the freedom. You can name new categories and fields, switch on or off the automatic form completion or even switch off the master password. If you switch off the master password, please remember that the data are unprotected.

Backup for emergency

There is a solution for emergencies as well. If you really lose your CmStick, you can import an encrypted backup of your password data in your new CmStick. Of course it is only possible with your own backup data and your CodeMeter password.

Cross platform ability

In addition to the Windows version of the CodeMeter Password Manager, a version for Mac OS and Linux is available, which also supports the automatic completion for Firefox. On Macintosh systems it will also work for the Safari browser and other applications (Finder) through the implementation into the Keychain.

Save login data of windows programs

CodeMeter Password Manager can now help you with the login to windows programs. It is the same method as you know it already when it comes to web-forms: As soon as the CodeMeter Password Manager recognizes, that you entered data in a windows program, you can store this data in the CmStick. The next time you open this program, the login data will be entered automatically.
